Annual Meeting Recap

Thank you to all those that attended the annual meeting last night!

It is imperative that homeowners attend AT LEAST this meeting annually.  We were very close to not achieving quorum, but were able to attain it at the last minute.  We need a minimum of 50% present to vote on items.  We appreciate those that attended greatly!

To summarize the events of last night's meeting, the president, Mary Noyes, addressed the homeowners with this year's board accomplishments.  From plumbing, to brick repairs, to asphalt and staircase replacements, this year's board has accomplished many things on the property.

Three positions were up for re-election including current board members, Jean Finch, Madeline Melgoza and Jeanine Williams.  Longtime resident, Lyn Robertson, also ran.

Once the votes were tallied, Jean, Madeline, and Jeanine retained their positions and were re-elected to serve.

Homeowners were encouraged to continue to provide constructive criticism to the board and were reminded that those serving are unpaid volunteers that want the same things for our community.  We appreciate any feedback and want to discourage the use of harsh language in the complaints.

A pilot newsletter was sent out in October 2015 and was very well received.  The newsletter will continue to be mailed quarterly in an effort to bring together homeowners and disseminate important community information.

It was announced that we received $20,000 back from the lawsuit we have been dealing with in regards to the money that was misappropriated previously.  The money has been put to good use for property repairs and more.
